Legal notice
This website is run by Tomas Bartosiewicz, Schlieren ZH, Switzerland. You can reach me at tomas@bartosiewicz.ch .
Privacy at a glance
This notice explains what personal data this website processes, why, and which services are involved. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Tomas Bartosiewicz (contact above) is responsible for the processing.
The short version: I don't use tracking cookies, show ads, or sell data. Analytics run on my own server. The contact form, the chat assistant, and the document demo pass what you enter to the services described below.
Hosting
The site and its three backend services run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, your browser, and the page you request. Cloudflare also serves the PDF viewer used by the document demo. Cloudflare privacy policy
Analytics
I count visits with Umami, which I host on my own server in Switzerland. It sets no cookies and builds no profiles. It records the page, the referring site, browser, device type, and country, plus a few actions such as opening the booking window or finishing the process audit. Your IP address is not stored.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message go through Cloudflare's email service to my mailbox, which Microsoft hosts. I use them only to answer you and keep them for as long as our correspondence requires. Microsoft privacy statement
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person sent the form. Your IP address is stored for one hour to limit repeated submissions.
Chat assistant
The chat assistant sends your messages, along with the earlier messages in the conversation, to Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, USA), whose AI model writes the replies. This site doesn't store the conversation; your browser keeps it in session storage until you close the tab. Your IP address is stored for one hour to enforce the limit of 20 messages per hour. Please don't enter sensitive personal data. Anthropic privacy policy
Document demo
Documents you upload to the demo are processed in real time and not stored by this site. If a PDF contains embedded e-invoice data (Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung), a Cloudflare server reads it directly. Otherwise the document goes to Anthropic, whose AI model extracts the fields. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the upload. Your IP address is stored for one hour to enforce the limit of five extractions per hour.
Upload only documents you're allowed to share, ideally samples without personal data. The sample invoice works without uploading anything.
Booking a call
The “Book a 15-min call” button opens Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). The homepage loads Calendly's script files in the background so the booking window opens instantly. Loading them sends your IP address to Calendly. When you open the window, Calendly processes what you enter and may set its own cookies. Calendly privacy notice
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets two functional cookies and no tracking cookies: “theme” remembers light or dark mode, and “lang_pref” remembers your language choice. Both last one year. The chat assistant keeps the conversation, and whether its window is open, in your browser's session storage. Your browser clears both when you close the tab.
Data processed abroad
Cloudflare, Anthropic, Calendly, and Microsoft may process data in the USA and other countries. According to their privacy policies, they protect these transfers with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask me what personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. Write to tomas@bartosiewicz.ch . If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) . If you're in the EU, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
